I used the craft wood for the legs of the vanity as well. LOL! The faucets are gold button snap pieces. The mini vanity is made from a mini concrete mold, yes I made that. When it was all finished, I went ahead and added the mirror along with the mini toothbrush holder with hot glue.įor the decor, I was trying to match up my bathroom with the mini bathroom. I glued each piece with hot glue on to the top and bottom piece of wood. Then, I used an extra piece of craft wood as the spacer between each stick. I used strips of craft wood to make the slats and spaced them out just like a real slat wall. I made this wall before putting it into place…just to make my life a lot easier. Both were the measurements of the back wall. The bottom piece was actually mini baseboards. To make the wall, I used two pieces of wood for the top and bottom. We all know that slat walls are all the rage right now, so I thought a mini one would be even better. I wanted to create an accent wall, because obviously every mouse house needs an accent wall. The wallpaper came in a pack with a few different styles, so I had a few options to chose from. Then, I measured each space and glued wallpaper to them. Once my space was cut out, I measured the floor base and added plastic sheet tiling. I measured and drew out the space lining up with the studs and used my multi-tool to cut the drywall into a square. I found that the hole was located in-between two studs. LOL!Ĭreating this little magical space was actually pretty easy. This project got out of hand so quickly and I just couldn’t stop myself with all the miniature things. I don’t know about you but, all the little tiny stuff really speaks to me. Somehow, I thought that would tie everything together. I made a bunch of the little things inside of this tiny room to match the bathroom it is inside. So tiny! What really makes this space so special is all the little details. This little space is actually 3.5″ wide by 5″deep. So…somehow that led my mind to a mouse house! It was a circle and literally looked like a little mouse hole. Whoops! At first I figured I would just cover my error up with higher baseboards, but the longer I looked at that hole in the wall the more it got me thinking about all the things it could be. While removing the baseboards during the renovation, I accidentally made a hole in the drywall with my hammer. Those always seem to be the best somehow. Okay friends…did you see my BIG bathroom reveal for the Jeffrey Court All-Star Renovation Challenge? Do you remember the surprise of the show? Well, I received so many messages and questions about this teeny tiny space that I thought it might need it’s own blog post! □
